How to write a listing description that sells ?

In order to increase the probability of closing the deal , the real estate agents need to write a listing description that sells. The words have power to compel the buyer to give one listing more importance than the another one. Regrob comes up with five essential tips that can help the real estate agents in getting more traffic and finally a buyer.

1. Highlight unique features

It is extremely essential  to throw some light on the features of the property , which makes it a unique one. The biggest mistake , which most of the Realtors make is that they waste the space by being repetitive. The affects of it can be dangerous to the deal as it can put the buyer in doubt.

2. Upgrades are not to be left behind

If the property has been recently updated , then you should skip this at any cost. These upgrades on the other hand provide an opportunity for Realtors to provide a completely new look to their old listing. Upgrades also help to achieve higher price for property.

3. Words should draw a picture

The words should be well chosen, so that the reader could visualize the property in his mind.  According to a study , the Homes described as “beautiful” sell 5 percent more and 15 percent faster than those described as being “move-in-condition”.

4. Opening Statement

The idea is to immediately inform your reader , what they are looking for . It has to be catchy enough to get the attraction of the reader.  It could something like this “ You’ll love this gorgeous 2- story home located just 3 blocks from  Podar International School in downtown Thane”.

5. Closing statement and Call to Action

This is where you have to wrap it up and tell your readers what to do. Don’t be afraid to create a sense of urgency and remind them of the possibility that this is the last chance , they will ever have to buy the property. There is an example “This property is only available to the buyer who acts NOW. Stop reading and Start Calling….”.
