Regrob Company Profile: Founders, History, Network and Business Model

We are publishing this company profile on the official Regrob website . We have noticed that information about Regrob appears be old, incomplete or inaccurate.

Regrob started its journey from a office in Noida. Today, we operate across 20 cities and have built a network of 100+ franchise partners.

We work with 400+ property developers across Indian and international markets.

But Regrob did not start at this scale.

Here is how the journey began.

What Is Regrob?

Regrob is a technology-enabled real estate brokerage and franchise company.

We help people discover, compare and buy properties. Our main business comes from the primary real estate market. This means we work directly with developers to market and sell their new properties.

These properties can include:

Apartments

Residential plots

Villas

Farmhouses

Commercial properties

Other new real estate projects

We also work in property resale and rentals. Our primary-market business has historically remained our larger focus.

Our model combines technology, digital marketing and local real estate teams.

We call it an Online-to-Offline, or O2O, real estate model.

Ashish Kaushik – Co-Founder

Ashish Kaushik is the Co-Founder and CEO of Regrob and an IIM alumnus.

When Did Regrob Start?

The Regrob journey began in 2011.

We formally registered the company as a private limited company in 2013.

We started in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

There was no nationwide network at that time. There were no 100+ franchise partners.

We started small.

Our early operations included offices in Sector 65 and Sector 62, Noida.

Like most young businesses, we learned by doing.

We met developers.

We marketed projects.

We generated customer enquiries.

We organised site visits.

We negotiated deals.

We built sales teams.

We made mistakes and learned from them.

Most importantly, we started understanding one major problem in the real estate industry.

Property buyers were moving online, but property transactions were still happening offline.

That gap created an opportunity.

How Does the Regrob Business Model Work?

The Regrob business model is straightforward.

We tie up with developers. We market their properties. We generate enquiries. We help buyers shortlist properties. We organise site visits. We assist with negotiation and booking. We also help eligible customers explore home-loan options.

Here is how the process works.

1. We Work With Property Developers

Our business starts with property inventory.

Regrob has developed relationships with 400+ property developers across Indian and international markets.

We identify projects and properties that we can market to potential buyers.

Instead of owning the property ourselves. We work as a real estate marketing and brokerage partner.

This makes Regrob an asset-light real estate business.

2. We Visit Properties and Create Original Content

This is an important part of the Regrob model.

We don't want customers to depend only on a glossy brochure.

Our teams visit projects.

We shoot original property videos and photographs. We try to show customers what the project and property actually look like.

We explain the location, property configuration, project features, connectivity and other relevant details.

This content helps a buyer understand a property before deciding whether to visit it.

3. We Take Properties Online

We take these properties to potential buyers through digital channels.

Over the years, we have used platforms such as:

YouTube, Google, Meta, Medium, Quora, Pinterest and other digital platforms.

Our marketing strategy keeps changing because the internet keeps changing.

A channel that worked five years ago may not work equally well today.

Today, buyers are also discovering properties through AI platforms and answer engines.

4. Customers Enquire Online

When someone likes a property, they can contact us.

This is where the online enquiry turns into a real conversation.

Our team first tries to understand the customer's actual requirement.

These questions help us understand what the buyer actually needs.

5. We Help Customers Shortlist Properties

We don't want a customer to spend every weekend visiting random projects.

Our team can share property details and original videos before the site visit.

We can also suggest multiple properties that match the buyer's requirements.

The customer can compare the options and shortlist the ones worth visiting.

This saves time.

6. We Arrange Site Visits

Real estate is still an offline business at the final stage.

You may watch 20 property videos online. Before investing , you will probably want to see the property yourself.

Our local teams help customers arrange site visits.

They show the shortlisted options and answer property-related questions.

This is the “offline” part of our O2O model.

7. We Help Buyers Compare Multiple Properties

Regrob works with multiple developers.

This allows our teams to show different options

8. We Help With Negotiation and Closure

Finding the right property is only part of the journey.

The buyer may still have questions about price, payment plans, booking procedures and other transaction details.

Our team helps coordinate the conversation between the customer and the relevant developer or seller.

We assist the customer through negotiation, booking and transaction coordination.

Property and Home Loan Assistance Under One Roof

Many customers need a home loan to complete their property purchase.

Regrob works with major banks, financial institutions and NBFCs.

We have tie up with HDFC, ICICI Bank, SBI and other lenders.

The lender independently decides loan eligibility, approval, interest rate and other terms.

Our role is to help the customer connect the property-buying journey with home-loan .

Regrob Primarily Works in the New Property Market

People sometimes ask whether Regrob is a new-property company or a resale-property company.

We work in both.

However, our major historical focus has been the primary real estate market.

In simple terms, the primary market means a property being offered for sale by a developer.

We market apartments, plots, villas, farmhouses and other eligible projects directly for developers.

We also work in the secondary market, which includes property resale and rentals.

Why Do We Call Regrob an Asset-Light Business Model?

Regrob does not manufacture the properties it sells.

Developers and property owners hold the inventory.

We focus our resources on:

Technology. Marketing. People. Customer acquisition. Developer relationships. Sales.

This creates an asset-light structure.

Regrob has also received industry recognition for its asset-light franchise model.

But we want to make one thing clear.

Asset-light does not mean work-light.

Real estate requires serious execution.

Regrob Network in 2026

Today, Regrob has grown beyond the small Noida office where the journey started.

Our network includes:

20 cities

100+ franchise partners

400+ developer relationships across Indian and international markets

Regrob in Media and Industry

Regrob's journey has also received recognition outside the company.

Regrob ahave appeared in publications and media platforms including

Forbes India,

Outlook

and Business Standard, among others.

Regrob has also received recognition for its franchise and asset-light business model.

Awards and media coverage matter to us, but they do not build a business.

Customers, employees, developers and franchise partners do.
