What I learned from meeting 500+ franchise Prospect?

We have built a strong and growing network of real estate franchises under our brand, Regrob.

In the last 14 years, I have personally met more than 500 + franchise prospects. And here’s the truth — the reason for these meetings was never about selling a franchise. It has always been much bigger than that.

These conversations gave me deep insights into how people look at franchising as their next career, what they expect from us, and how they understand our full business model. For me, it has also been a constant source of feedback — helping us find the right people to take our franchise forward. This brings joint success to franchise partner and company.

Through this journey, I’ve met some truly amazing people who are now our franchise partners — and also my good friends. We’ve been working together for years, despite coming from different cities, backgrounds, and levels of experience.

Here’s what those 500+ conversations taught me:

Through this journey, I’ve met some truly amazing people who are now our franchise partners — and also my good friends. We’ve been working together for years, despite coming from different cities, backgrounds, and levels of experience.

Here’s what those 500+ conversations taught me:

1️⃣ The most successful franchise partners don’t ask “How much will I earn?” They ask, “What do I need to do to earn this much?” 👉 This single shift in mindset makes all the difference.

2️⃣ Everyone loves the idea of entrepreneurship, but not everyone is ready to take full responsibility. A franchise is not a glorified job. It requires complete ownership, hunger for success, and daily execution. It’s not one-time work — it’s consistency.

3️⃣ Money matters, but mindset matters more. Some of our best franchise partners started with limited capital but unlimited discipline — and they grew faster than those who only had money but no work ethic.

4️⃣ Conflict management is a must. Business is not just about growth; it’s also about resolving conflicts, managing challenges, and moving forward. Things won’t always go as planned — and those who adapt, settle issues, and push harder, grow faster.

5️⃣ Trust is the real decision-maker. Prospects don’t really invest in brands or ROI sheets. They invest in people they trust. That’s why culture and the founder–partner connection is everything.

6️⃣ Clarity beats excitement. The best prospects ask tough questions about operations, support, and training — instead of only asking “What’s the ROI?” ROI is just 6% of the whole picture. If you put in the right processes, operations, sales efforts, and human energy, ROI will be very high.

After so many meetings, my biggest conclusion is this:

👉 Franchise is a true partnership. The brand brings the system and experience. The partner brings the energy and execution. When both sides give 100% — magic happens. ✨

💡 If you have ever explored a franchise, what was the very first question you asked the founder?erence.
